Rental Property War Stories
Posted on May 3, 2007
I have a few friends with rental property and I always enjoy hearing war stories that inevitably come from owning and then renting it out to perfect strangers. For all the good, quiet tenants there are crazy, loud tenants to offset them. I have not yet had the good fortune to own a rental property, but it is something I have always considered and at some time would like to go for it. Not sure if I ever will, but its an option to rent my house out when I decide to have a family and move to a larger home. My girlfriend is definitely not in favor of this, but if the financial aspect makes sense I think she will consider it. Anyhow, the reason for writing this post is I came across some interesting posts on OneMillionToMyName’s site and thought I would share them out. Read this first and then read this.

Thanks for the plug, my friend.
Luckily, nothing has blown up or caught fire over there recently. My next project is to go in the basement of the place and clean out a storage locker left by a previous tenant. It was those screaming newlyweds - they’ve been gone for almost two years, and they left an entire locker’s worth of clothes. I think I saw some designer labels in there!
I am happy those freaks are gone.
